Investing in young people

Work experience programmes

We believe every young person should be supported in order to get the most out of their work experience. In 2018/19 we invested the following in young people on our Smart Futures & Our Future courses:

  • £270k paid to young people during their work experience
  • £94k to provide young people with the CMI team leadership qualification
  • £45k in work experience placement activities
  • £8k in travel & clothing bursaries
  • £417k invested in the young people we work with
